The weekend has come and gone and even though it was a pretty low-key weekend, I still always feel a little tired when Monday rolls around. I know this upcoming week will be a fantastic week as the Fourth of July holiday quickly approaches. Boyfriend has some time off so we're hoping to make the best of the holiday weekend and have a little fun. We've decided against heading to Charleston; it was too last minute and not enough time to plan properly. I'm looking forward to week(s) ahead as I'm *finally* making time to work on a few things that make me happy and that I enjoy.
I started my weekend with a glass of bourbon with a homemade ginger syrup from Urban Stack before heading to the movies to see This is the End. We tried a new shaved truck where you add your own flavors of syrup. Neat idea. Somehow, we found time to eat from a local pizza food truck too - the pizza was so good! The weekend came to a quiet end by enjoying a little wine and cheese. Great end to the weekend.
